Study Tour - China 2008
Would you like to be part of a Bothar Study Tour that takes you beyond your ideas about poverty –into the lives of families who Bothar support, learn about their culture, their history and customs? See first hand how these families lives have improved and become self-sufficient over time. Each Bothar Study Tour is unique and is planned in conjunction with our project partners throughout the Developing World.
In September 2007 a group of 16 very enthusiastic Bothar supporters became involved in a Study Tour to Kosovo and Albania. The experiences they had, the people they met and the stories that were told will remain with them forever and has had a huge impact on their lives today. In March 2008 a group of 17 participants will take part in a Study Tour to Zambia. The group is made up mainly of teachers as this is an educator’s trip.
Bóthar’s next Study Tour will be to China in October 2008.
We are currently recruiting participants for this trip. While the trip will involve visits to quite a number of Bothar supported projects we will still have a chance to visit some of China’s most famous landmarks such at Tian An Men Square and the Great Wall.
The dates for this trip are:
14th – 24th October and the cost per person is €2,700.
We will be taking a group of 18 maximum on this trip, so, if you would like to be part of this exciting experience please contact the Bothar Study Tours Office without delay for further details.
