O’Connell drives home Bóthar’s Christmas

Driving Bóthar’s recent Christmas atalogue Campaign were Munster captain Paul O’Connell with Ciara McCorley, Allison McNamara and Maria McCormack (all Bóthar staff).

Munster captain and Irish international, Paul O‘Connell, recently paid a visit to the Bóthar headquarters in Limerick city to go shoulder to shoulder with the charity and drive home Bóthar‘s Christmas Campaign in order to raise funds for it’s overseas aid programmes.

Paul was delighted to be invited to meet the staff at the charity’s Clare Street premises and was able to get a better insight into the work that Bóthar does and see the simple brilliance of the pass-on programme.

"I first heard of Bóthar when I was in transition year at school. I remember our class did a project and we sent a cow to a poor family in Africa. I have always admired the simplicity and practicality of the work that Bóthar does and I intend to continue supporting their work into the future, "said Paul.
