The RTÉ lyric fm Breakfast Club for Children
The new association between Bóthar and Lyric Breakfast is an exciting collaboration. The focal point of the relationship will be the Lyric Breakfast Club, which is open to all primary school-goers and is a fun way to introduce children to the wealth of classical music as well as other activities.

Members of the Club receive a monthly newsletter, The Gazette. From time to time, Lyric run competitions in The Gazette with great prizes that include concert tickets, family stay overs at luxurious hotels and much more. In the October newsletter, there was a chance for 10 lucky children to win a copy of Beatrice’s Goat, the story of a Ugandan Girl who received the gift of an Irish Dairy Goat.

With this new partnership, there will be opportunities for Lyric members to actively get involved with the work being done by Bóthar. Lyric have told us that they are all looking forward to a great year of fun and fundraising. They will be informing the children about the work that Bóthar does for children less fortunate than themselves and will also be stimulating fundraising activities within the schools via the children and the teachers.
