Spring 2005 : ANIMAL FUNDING

INDONESIA
Winter 2004: We have established goat, pig and poultry projects in remote areas on the Island of Sumatra in Indonesia. Under the Bóthar funded programme 200 families have been trained in animal husbandry and are preparing to receive their Bóthar funded livestock.

ARMENIA
Winter 2004: Under a local Youth Economic Self-Reliance Programme Bóthar is funding training in dairy cow & dairy goat husbandry as well as training in marketing methods for their produce.  This community based programme is designed to build personal leadership & provide civic & health education for the young while teaching them how to care for themselves.
