Administration Costs

Bóthar raises funds by inviting members of the public to participate on a voluntary basis in its various sponsorship schemes. It acknowledges all support it receives and provides further information where possible. Of the funds received from the general public, 3% goes towards administration and other expenses.  These expenses are met from a number of sources through subvention from Heifer International, the American partner organisation of Bóthar which provides the infrastructural framework for Bóthar projects in receiving countries using Bóthar animals, and from a small number of private donors.
